It's a warm day at the park, I feel the wind rub against my back from it's pressure. A fluffy light brown squirrel crawls toward me trying to reach for my sandwich from my bag I packed for lunch. I get goosebumps afraid that it might jump on me. I was right. The fluffy squirrel pounces on my chest, grabs the sandwich and takes off in a flash. I feel puzzelled that it didn't take my candy with it. Oh well, at least I can enjoy the rest of my time watching kids beat one another and hear boy scouts do unusual bird calls.
那是一個溫暖的午後，我在公園，感受著微風輕撫過我的背。突然，一隻淺棕色的松鼠爬向我，它想靠近我包包裡的三明治。我起了雞皮疙瘩，因為 我害怕牠會突然 跳下。我是正確的。牠襲擊了我的胸部，抓住了三明治，然後轉眼之間搶走了它。但我覺得有些疑惑，因為牠沒有一起帶走我的糖果。喔，不論如何，最後我還是享 受地看著孩子們互相打鬧，並且聽著小童子軍學著奇怪的鳥叫。

It's a warm sunny day, I'm at the beach and I feel confident that I'll ride a dolphin today.

那是一個溫暖的夏日，我在海邊，而且我有信心今天我可以騎海豚。

The saltwater breeze refreshes my face from whatever stress lurks inside me.

鹹鹹的海風撫過我的臉頰，帶走了我心中最深處的壓力。

As I walk through the hot chunky sand, the sunset expresses it's beautiful variety of colors making it hard to believe it isn't an artwork.

當我走過熱熱的沙灘時，夕陽上演了美麗且豐富的色彩變化，很難讓人相信這不是個藝術品。

Sitting along the ocean with a friend was good fun, letting your mind explore whatever it ran into.

和朋友坐在海邊是件有趣的事，讓你的心充滿自由的想像。

Finally, I think I'm ready to see if there are any dolphins roaming in this dark blue sea.

最後，我想我已經準備好要去看看有沒有海豚漫遊在這湛藍的海裡。

Then just as I was about to give up, a strange mammal looking like a shark shot out of water splashing my shorts and socks while doing cool jumps in the air.

當我就要放棄的時候，突然有隻像鯊魚的哺乳動物衝出水面，當牠在空中跳躍的時候，水花也濺濕了我的衣服和襪子。

I think to myself, was that a dolphin or am I just seeing things?

我在想，那究竟是海豚，還是如我所見是一隻鯊魚呢?

My feet get slapped by the forces of the waves fighting against my pale toes.

我腳趾頭變得蒼白，且不停地顫抖。

But the waves weren't the only things touching me.

但我感受到的，不只是顫抖的腳趾而已。

I bend down and see a baby dolphin that wanted to play.

我彎下腰，然後看見了一隻想跟我玩耍的小海豚。

I don't freak out I just follow it to the far side of the ocean.

我就這樣跟著他去了海的另一邊。

My friend follows and asks," what's going on?" running to keep up with the dolphin I say, "keep up and you'll see!".

我的朋友跟了過來，問我發生了什麼事。我說:跟著我們吧！你會知道的。

We stop when we have nothing else to breath, panting non-stop.

就在快要不能呼吸的時候，我們終於停了下來。

I try to squint my eyes seeing where the baby dolphin went.

我瞇著眼想看看小海豚去了哪。

Then, out of nowhere, a whole entire family of dolphins sing a chorus and make weird noises seeing if they've got everyone in the herd.

然後，有東西突然冒了出來，那是一大群的海豚。牠們像在合唱般地發出奇特的聲音，並且成群地聚在一起。

One of them suddenly looks at me, making the expression that other people make when they're trying to read other people's minds.

其中一隻海豚突然看著我，牠的表情就像是牠正試著要看穿我的心。

The dolphin swims up to me, nibbles on my toe for no apparent reason, then offers me to get on its back.

牠遊向了我，不知為何啃著我的腳指頭，然後牠要我跳到牠背上。

My friend looks at me surprised, and pushes me closer to it.

我朋友驚訝地看著我，並且將我推向小海豚。

I walk towards it and just when I was going to walk away, I trip on a seashell and I land on its back.

正當我走向牠的時候，我被一個貝殼絆倒了，就這樣直接跌落在牠的背上。

This is something I'll never forgive myself for but it was worth it. The trip was amazing.

這是我永遠不會忘記的事。這趟旅程太驚奇了。

I made new friends. One of them was Marco the sea turtle.

我交到了新朋友。其中一個是海龜Marco。

Especially Kayne, he was such a clown fish.

特別是Kayne，牠是隻小丑魚。

After the long peaceful ride, I stand on my feet for the first time and explain all the adventures I had with that crazy dolphin.

在漫長且平穩的旅途後，我再度站上了地面，並且訴說著和那隻不可思議的小海豚發生的一切。

It was the best day I'll never forget.

那是我永遠忘不了的，最棒的一天。
